Lately I've been reading a lot about vegan feminism, which seems to match up with my opinions better than eco-feminism did. So here's a vegan feminist comic!

Poor cow. Now, I'm not a vegan, but I have a strange aversion to most dairy products. I have no clue why, it just doesn't taste right.

Love this, so true! I was vegetarian for over ten years, and am ashamed that I was ignorant (and then in denial) about dairy for so long. Vegan for a full year as of April 30th; vegan FOREVER.

hazah hazah!! yay! Milk companies need to stop brainwashing people. I have had people literally tell me "but if you don't milk the cow doesn't it hurt them?" Of course I still try to be nice to these people but sometimes I'm just like....O.o I have also heard that they cows will explode if you don't milk them...yes I actually heard this from a teacher....I was actually going to correct him after class, but for some reason I forget and felt totally bad about forgetting o.o

My dad used to tell me the cow would feel pain if you didn't milk her. Luckily I was vegan at the time so I could correct him and not be brainwashed by that silly myth. x) Haha maybe I'll make one of my future comics just about the myth. ;) It's so prevalent.

Haha! Teachers are so uneducated. Most of them hardly know about the subject of which they teach, let alone and inch beyond that.

This is a huge reason why i became vegan!!
I always told my dad that milk isn't good because it actually rips the calcium from your bones but he just looks at me as if i'm not smart enough and what they say in the milk commercial is true that cows are good for us but they aren't!!
